Four types of organizations should consider becoming a member of the OnWe Network.
Community financial institutions (CFI) will gain direct benefits in becoming a Member of the OnWe Network by sending and receiving images through a Co-Host. It is important to remember that even a CFI not totally image enabled can still benefit by using the OnWe Network to both send and receive images. This is accomplished by simply ordering an inexpensive scanner and printer through our secure Internet shopping site. Every CFI should ask their correspondent service provider if they are an OnWe Network Co-Host. If they are not, contact OnWe Network directly and we will help you become a Member.
Correspondent institutions that can perform cash letter settlement will want to become a Member of the OnWe Network and be a designated Co-Host. Each Co-host offers full image exchange services to their correspondent customers. All Co-Hosts operate under a set of common rules including ECCHO Rules for Image Exchange. Each also has the ability to establish many competitive positioning operating rules and procedures thus maintaining their independence and brand conformity.
Financial institutions that do not perform cash letter settlement services for others will want to exchange with the endpoints served by OnWe Network. These institutions can exchange through existing relationships they may have with national image exchange services. Or, they may find cost savings in becoming an OnWe Network Supporter. The Supporter designation requires a direct send/receive agreement.
Since none of the national image exchange services can directly reach all of the endpoints in the country, these organizations should become an OnWe Network Supporter by obtaining the required direct send/receive agreement. Exchanging through the OnWe Network is likely their least expensive way to reach most community financial institution endpoints.
